Just found this photo today of the interior of one of Air 2000's all-First Class 757s!
Although in the Summer all Air 2000's 757s seat 233 in high density layout, in the Winter G-OOOU and G-OOOX are converted into this layout, with 80 First Class seats and 12 economy seats, but the economy seats are not sold and are used for staff, as most flights with these aircraft are "heavy" crewed with 3 pilots, 8 cabin crew, a chef and a mechanic, plus tour guides etc.
Quite a transformation from their normal role!
The planes are used on around the world flights for luxury tour companies like TCS Expeditions. For these flights they often have the titles of the chartering firm applied to their side.
This type of aircraft will become even more common in the UK later this year as new airline, Newlines begin twice daily operations from London-Standsted to New York-JFK using an 80 seat 757 with a similar configuration. I only hope this venture proves a success unlike some other similar airlines.
How about linkups with Legend and Midwest Express
Do they fly into JFK to connect?
Are there any similar aircraft out there, where they are used in both normal airline layout and all First Class at different times?
