More On 777LR Record Flight

I think the most interesting point was about the oil consumption. Both engines combined burnt off under 1 quart of oil during the entire trip...That strikes me as amazing.

Last year 23 hours non stop in a commercial airliner would have been tought of as amazing.

...Amazing. The long range versions of the 777 have with their exclusive GE power, lifted the 'bar' to a new level.

The performance, economy and reliabilty for 77W had been nothing short of outstanding especially given the sheer size and power of the 115B. Remember this engine is big.. over 50 % more power than A380 engine.

Well done GE/Boeing
