SIA state that the value of their current A380 contract is $8.6Bn USD.
That price covers 10 firm, 15 options, a spares clause, and the initial engines (but not spare engines).
That equates to $344m per frame over 25 aircraft. I only wish they could have broken it down a bit further so we could see what proportion was frames, spares + initial engines.
Sounds like a big number for a allegedly $150m/frame contract. Guess they're assuming there's no chance of 99% EIS reliability, and have ordered enough spares to build the planes again
