Stored Jetbridges @ BWI Parking Lots

Wed Nov 23, 2005 12:06 am

For my BWI comrades...

I was riding my bike around the BWI trail and as I passed the overflow lots on Dorsey Road I saw a number of jetbridges stored there. I would think with all the recent expansion going on they would need every one they could get. Does anyone know what the story is with them? Also, won't they need the parking space during the upcoming holiday travel season?

Thanks

Well the jetways are from the C-pier. They were removed while the construction continues on the hydrant fueling system. Those old jetways will probably be replaced with new ones. Have personally driven them myself, I can tell you that they need to be replaced badly. Also a few of those may be new ones for gates B1, B3, B9, and B11 for second half of the A/B construction.
