He answered me that not by now. GIG is not in the priority list.

VS tend to do a few charters for one of the cruise ship companies during the winter season when the fleet is not pushed so hard as in the summer. There is a little more flexibility in the schedule to allow these flights to be operated.
Quoting Steady Eddie (Reply 3):
these are charters for a cruise ship company, and not associated with any plans for scheduled services

BA don't want a fourth competitor in this route
Quoting StarGoldLHR (Reply 10):
The airfares for Brasil are so high... what do you mean there's not enough demand.
£600-£1000 a ticket for a 5000 mile flight...
by comparison £600-1000 will get you from london to Australia, 10000 miles...
and £400-600 will get you 5000 miles to san francisco.
Quoting Richardw (Reply 11):
Interestingly if you pick a BA flight starting in BRU via LHR, compared to the flight starting at LHR, the price is different.
Quoting AirNZ (Reply 12):
As history has shown, BA don't like/want competition in any shape or form, much less on ANY route, and never have!
Quoting Brasuca (Reply 14):
Those are overall fares between Europe and Brazil, not only Brazil and the UK.
