AtlasJet is a charter operator who has launched scheduled domestic services last year. They operate nine A320-200s, six B757-200s and two CRJ-700s.

AtlasJet is a Turkish airline. Saw one of their CRJ's in Istanbul last time I was there. I looked on their website recently but it doesn't mention the scheduled services; I was wondering what their fares are.

Look, the've nicked the PSA smile  Wink

AtlasJet appear to be doing quite well for themselves. I haven't seen any pics of them at any London Airport yet. Must go search.

Thanks
Mike

Bahadir,

Good source. Indeed Atlasjet plans on swapping out their currrent CRJ700s, with a larger new CRJ900 fleet.

Well, I was really close to the source. Being in Istanbul helps  Smile

Their current CRJ700s are being told "buh-bye" and they will be replaced with CRJ900s. With 3 aircraft net gain.

I was told that KK wanted 190/195 but were not happy by the fact that B6 closed the production line for few years to come.

At least that's what I hear from KK people..

and for those who asked "who is atlas jet" , ever heard of google?  Smile

Tell them to place an order for the Bombardier C-Series! We're still waiting for a launch customer.

Thanks for the tip, Bahadir. I had a look on their site; about 40 euros for a flight Istanbul-Antalya. That's quite good, I might try them on my next visit to Turkey.
They would get a lot more customers though if the English version would have a booking system as well!

Levent, if you end up in the Anatolian section of the city you can book your trip on www.flypgs.com  Smile I have heard a lot of complaints from people who couldn't book a flight on their english version. It's a must!!!
