Just come back from a week in Gran Canaria. On the outbound 320 of Thomas Cook from EMA-LPA, one of the three toilets was out of use for the duration, a sticky tape note, advising passengers of this.
This led to the inevitable long queues in the aisle and causing havoc as more people were trying to use the one functional toilet at the rear.
Blow me if a week later on the return 320 LPA-EMA the same toilet was still out of service! The flight this time was full to capacity, as must have been the poor passengers bladders as they waited in the long line for the toilets.
Very poor customer service. I wonder if in a few weeks the TCX 320 is still flying without its third toilet? I cannot believe in a week that efforts were not made to return the toilet to service.
This shortage of toilets was very inconveinient for cabin crew who had more than usual problems with blocked aisles. I was one of the passengers queing to use the single toilet at the rear and I had to clamp my bladder tight and wait for 10 minutes to be able to use the toilet.
Oh and in addition, the meal I pre-ordered and pre-paid for was not given out and I had to summon a cabin crew member and produce my ticket before I got my dinner.
TCX- the airline for the strong bladdered!
