For Us Nonenglish-natives, How To Pron. Allegiant?

Thu Dec 01, 2005 2:32 am

For us non-english-natives ... how does one pronounce Allegiant airlines?
Is it like "Alley-Giant" or "Alleee-Geeant"?

Guess there's more airlines around with "special" pronounciations

I would go so far as to spell it out as uh-LEE-gent to make sure that short A gets pronounced right at the start of the word.

Sounds like some thug you wouldn't want to mess with on a dark night.
