Delta Laptop Power

Mon Dec 05, 2005 2:50 am

Hi all, I didnt think this thread warranted a place in civ-av so decided to put it in here (of course if you think it should be moved do suggest!).

I'm due to go on one of DL's 777s soon, and was wondering if they supplied leads on-board to have laptop power ? Also if they do are they free ? Does anyone know a product on sale in England that would work on DL's 777 ?

Many thanks

Both of these say that the 777 has a power outlet.

I would assume that it is also a 110v connection. So make sure your power cord is rated 110-220(240) not just 220/240.

The adaptor you need will be found on this page: http://www.kleanit.co.uk/acatalog/Mains_Plug_Adaptors.html

DL 777/738/764 use the EmPower System. However, I flew a DL 738 from ATL-PSP and the Empower ports(located under the seat), were detached from their plastic holders. I fixed it by taking the actual plug out of the holder, and connecting it to my adaptor. You can buy a laptop adaptor at www.igo.com or for a more cost efficient method, buy a power invertor from targus. www.targus.com
