Frontier And ATA Move At DFW!

Tue Dec 06, 2005 8:17 pm

Frontier has moved from B36 to E32 and ATA has moved from B25 to E34. Term E is starting to get filled up again as Term B is slowing shrinking until AE moves in. US Air and America West are supposed to move to Term E in Jan after Spirit starts service.

What's happening with the now vacant gates in B? A few of them are international-capable, or were at least.

The international gates will stay as international, so there is more capacity if needed. The Omni DC-10-30s and MD-11s and TZ L-1011-500s will still go there for the military charters (gates B-35, B-36, and B-38), occasionally also using Terminal D gate D-17. American Eagle will take over most of Terminal B. Everyone else will relocate to Terminal E.

TZ and F9 relocated last night.

Also I would assume that the AE mexico flights can use them.

I assume UA is moving as well? It seems to me that their gates were recently renovated, but if they're moving then it must've been on the airport's tab!

I could be wrong, but i believe UA is refusing to move, since their current gate area is so nice.
