Alaska: Second 734 Sent For Conversion

Wed Dec 07, 2005 6:10 pm

If already posted , I can not find it and sorry for the repetition.

Dec 5th: Alaska sent the second of (5) 737-400's to Alabama (DHN) for freighter conversion.

N709AS was already there, expected out 4/7/06

N768AS sent 2 days ago and expected in service 6/7/06

Thanks for the update, AS739X! Maybe I'll see one of them next summer when I go to Alaska. I've always enjoyed seeing (a, the) 732 cargo ship when I've gone through ANC.

Is this full freighter conversion or conversion to fixed wall combi?

709, the first one in, will be a dedicated freighter.
768 will be a mixed pax/cargo configuration.
