Can anyone tell me which of the following aircraft has the lowest operating cost on flights between 500 and 1000 miles?

I was just sitting here with some coworkers and this is not gospel, but the 737-800 is our educated airline industry guess.....Nice plane by the way....

This is not an expert's opinion but from I have read (I thik it was on the WSJ 5-6 months ago) the B-717 is ubeatable in operational costs in short flights. The only matter is that it has very small range, so it can not be operated in longer flights, than the B-737 series.
