A Question About Scheduled Flights

Wed Dec 14, 2005 6:46 am

Is it possible to know which a/c is used on a scheduled floght?
For instance, I go to TLV next week: according to El Al website, the flight is operated with a 747-400: but is it possible to know if this will be 4X-ELA? 4X- ELB? 4X- ELC...?

Regards
sacha

It is possible, but airlines don't give info like that out on their websites  Smile

The best thing to do is to post a topic in the forums asking anyone if they know what aircraft will be operating your flight  Smile

Only pretty much insiders and workers of the airline can find out your aircraft, it is not always acurate as aircraft may change last minute  Smile

Its best to ask someone just under week prior to departure  Smile

Hope this helps  Smile

Have a try, see if anyone knows about your EL Al flight!  Smile

I wouldn't ask questions about specifc El Al equipment on this forum: Their security is quite high and you might spook someone, seriously.

I have any easier way:

When you get the gate, look at the ergistration, than you'll know for sure  Smile

I am sorry I don't understand your point of view, captain fantastic.I don't understand why my question is so specific!El Al has for example only one 763 and when you see in the schedule that your flight is operated by a 763, you exactly know which a/c will operate your flight!!!

when is your flight?
I can check for you which a/c you willll get.

On a side note .... With LY and 744, you can know if is ELS or not on their website.
Check the schedule for that day, if F class is not offered on that flight then it is most probably because it is a two class 744. The only 2 class 744 in LY's fleet today is 4X-ELS.
I can tell you more specifically if you want to know.

Finally, I dont want to know, I want to have a surprise lool. The a/c is FCY, so it is not 4X-ELS.By the way, does 4X-ELS have PTVs?Is ELS owned or leased by El Al?
