Question About NW Flight Numbers

Thu Dec 15, 2005 10:39 pm

I have a question about NW flight numbers and more specifically the ones relelated to Pinnacle. I was checking flights from IND to MCI and the flight numbers are usually in the 4000's but by March they are all in the 2900's. Does this indicate any kind of equipment change? Or is this just NW changing flight numbering for whatever reason?

Thanks in advance.

No equipment change. When I worked for XJ, we saw both 2700 series as well as 5000 series numbers. All with the BarbieJet

Ah ok. So in this case there is no significance at all since both sets of flight numbers involved are Northwest Airlink/Pinnacle. Thanks for the link.
