AF Cabin Crew: AF Invitation Only Club

Thu May 25, 2000 4:22 am

To AF Cabin Crew or anyone else:

A while back you told us of a special, like BA Premier, available by invitation only. I believe the name was Club 3000 or something like that.

Can you tell me what the name is and what some of the benefits are?

Thanks.

Club 2000

Mon May 29, 2000 3:06 am

I am back !

Well Club 2000 is an Air France card that holders were given according to tough selection.
People who own companies, who are CEO's and choose AF as their prime airline are Club 2000 members as well as People with press coverage such as actors, artists, singers, politicians etc...
Famous Club 2000 card holders are Catherine Deneuve, Alain Delon, Paloma Picasso, Gerard Depardieu etc...

The Club 2000 opens all lounges doors even when you fly Tempo on AF or First Class on another airline. They have unlimited access to AF's lounges and its partner's.
They have priority on the waiting list, they are always invited to special events, receive vouchers for duty-free shopping on-board, they have priority for upgrades etc...

Happy Flying,

AF Cabin Crew.

Is it something like Swissair Circle? The holders of the Swissair circle cards have access to all SR, AA lounges World Wide. They can also participate in discussions to open a route. On every flight they have a guaranteed seat in first. And they can earn miles on SQ.
I believe Sophia Loren holds a circle card.

Bonjour Avion !

It probably is, I don't know what Swissair Circle is, The only other card I know is BA's Premier.

Club 2000 wouldn't advise Air France about new routes but new services and products yes.

Happy Flying,

AF Cabin Crew.

SR Travel Circle members can earn miles on SQ?? Are you sure?? I thought they split up the Global Excellence alliance with DL and SQ and SR a few years ago when SQ teamed up with LH.

Nickoftlanta:
Yes Qualiflyer and Travelclub members can not earn miles on SQ. But circle members can earn miles on SQ. Circle is an exclusive club with only about 500 members. Qualiflyer has 3 million members. Because there are so few members its exempted from the Star Alliance rules.
