What's The Longest Distance For A Flight Number?

Sun Dec 18, 2005 10:59 am

I was just wondering what the longest distance for a flight number is to include equipment changes. CO 51 starts in FRA flies to EWR , changes equipment and continues to IAH then flies it's final leg to EZE which is a distance of 10,329 miles. I'm sure there are longer ones aren't there?
Warm winds blowing, heating blue skies, and a road that goes forever, I'm going to Texas!

In terms of actual distances flown (not GC distances), UA1 was almost always longer than UA2. In terms of GC distances, they were identical, of course.

I would have thought NZ 1 and NZ 2 are long enough. The NZ 744F, is it technically NZ or Atlas?
