My guess would be sports charters...

Yeah that's the one... I don't think it's a sports charter since football season is over at the University of Tennessee. Since there are fewer players on a basketball team , teams usually charter CRJs or other smaller aircraft.

I assume it is a corporate aircraft. This is COMCO:

Both B610G and N226G are registred to L 3 Capital LLC in Helena, Montana.

It is being discussed on another Forum (Airliner World) that they are being operated by a mulitary wing, but it sounds a bit far fetched to me...

If the pair of "civilian Boeing 757s" N226G and N610G do swap between these identities and "pseudo C-32B" marks, I was working on the theory that it is this pair that account for the other spurious serials that have been reported infrequently from around the globe (ie 09001 and 96143).

Thanks LN-MOW,

That link explained everything. TYS not being that far from the infamous area to our north, aircraft like these aren't uncommon.

they've been in and out of POB a lot recently, SNN-POB-SAV 4 times in the past week and into next week....don't show anything before SNN though, which is strange.

Seen both of those aircraft here in OMA. One may drop in every 4 months or so for a fuel stop or overnights. Usually a sparce crew, no passengers. Talked to a mechanic from the aircraft once. He said he worked for Raytheon, who was doing "avioncs research" with L-3. He produced badges for both companies. He said they operate under Part 125 and don't do 135 stuff. As you've probably seen in the db, these COMCO 757s have been all over the world. As we discuss this, men in dark suits driving black Crown Vics are on they way to our houses.  Wink
