Aah right! Well, in the event that there ever was a need to sub any particular service, then VLM & Denim air (now one and the same) were the preferred ACMI supplier for obvious reasons. Specifics I'm not aware of in this instance, but from my experience in the past, it could indeed be the case. There have for a number of years now been "issues" with KLC's maintenance suppliers, about who services what and when, manpower availability with the relative mantenance company and the general "state" of the a/c and the amount of routine works being required to be carried out just to keep the a/c dispatchable. IMHO, these all stem from an initial underinvestment in KLM uk Engineering, in terms of spares and manpower availability over the years which has led to the current situation. MP
