Regarding the PVD/MHT option...I am pretty sure that the Boston subway/lightrail goes out to PVD airport now. And although I'm not sure, I would imagine it must go to BOS as well. They call it the "T" there, FYI.
My sister lives up in Boston and a couple of times I have flown up to see her I have had to use the subways. The blue line of the subway connects right to the airport as does the silver line which in turn connects to the rest of the system. There are also water shuttles that make stops at the airport.
would be the best option for you as there are more than one carrier on the route and BOS
offers more direct flights. Both Song and B6s product is much better than WNs, I never was a fan of waiting in line to get a seat. The prices out of BOS
are the same if not cheaper in a lot of cases than PVD
. Add in the fact that there are not flights between either PVD
would be the logical choice for the region as it is for any other travel need.
