AA Flight 191 On History Channel

Fri Dec 23, 2005 12:17 pm

There is a pretty good show on History Channel regarding the crash
of flight 191 at ORD in 1979.

Yep, also before it there was a show of the Korean air flight 007 and the Aloha flight when the roof tore of. Both exceptional and detailed. Great watch!

I remember that day like it was yesterday. I came home from school in Chicago
(3rd grade) and my mom was watching the news. I remember that it was a
warm day.

The photos of the DC-10 on its side are some of the most chilliong to me, as is the PSA 727 in San Diego.
I guess it is the knowledge of what happened next to those folks.

I thought the documentary on KAL 007 was interesting, but I couldn't stay up to see the following episodes. I hope they run them again this weekend.

Contrails:
Why don't you invest in a VCR? That way you wouldn't have to stay up late to watch a show. Record it and watch it later. VCRs are very inexpensive these days. I very seldom watch a show live. I record everything and that way when I watch them I can fast-forward through the commercials. I recorded all three aviation shows that were on last night and I'll watch them when I have time. Just some friendly advice.
