Aviation Analysis In News Television

Sun Dec 25, 2005 3:03 am

I was watching ABC World News last night, and they had this short report on the commercial aviation industry as a whole. They stated the fact that Boeing will finally regain its title as being 1st in the industry and that Boeing will beat its record 14 years ago. They also stated that the 787 is Boeing's "answer" to the A380 and that they compete directly with each other. They had no mention of the 747-8. I also noticed that they (being an American TV station) described the A380 as "a repeat of the Concorde in the 60s."

Any thoughts?
