Tue Dec 27, 2005 12:19 am

I was wondering if anyone knows how many Korean air 747 have the new interior or how many planes have the new update

AFAIK there are two 744s that have been refurbished. They are used on the ICN-LAX and ICN-JFK routes.

Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

KE website is updated. I guess 3 744s are remodelled.
New version 744s run daily ICN-JFK (KE081/082) and 3/w ICN-LAX (KE017/018). And remodelled 777s fly daily ICN-NRT-JFK (KE001/002), 4/w ICN-ORD, 3/w ICN-SEA, total maybe 4 777s I guess. 3/w ICN-DXB-CAI is also internet accessible flight but since it is A330, I'm not sure if new C class and AVOD are also equipped.

Flew SYD-ICN yesterday (HL7587) and this aircraft has the internet inflight, new cabin interior colours, but not the new seats. As far as I know, none of the A330's have the new seating, only new seat covers...

Mine not exact information, but we can assume that internet accessible 744s and 772s are also new seats equipped planes. Correct me if I'm wrong. On KE website, it says which routes are internet accessible ones, so I just guesses through that information. Hope KE lists AVOD flights too.

I guess, the routes which business travelers are dominant will be. US routes except HNL, GUM are therefore No.1 and the next will be FRA, LHR. However, until 2007, all long-haul will have the new interior.
