woke up to UA
's unused 7 EZE
frequencies for a proposed JFK
route. This got CO
's attention and they realized they better submit a competing application, or else they'd likely wait years for another chance to go to Argentina. Now, it could be CO
was eyeing the unused frequencies at the same time DL
was, and the timing of their application was just a coincidence. But I believe the former explanation is the correct one!
And given the chance, I bet they would still be interested in LOS, as long as certain concerns be resolved.
