Right on, I live almost right across the street and as nice as it would be to just fly out of APF commercially ( I do my private flying out of there) its just too damn expensive compared to RSW. However, Ted was able to bring Delta in so I'm sure he can help get the prices down

There are no CHEAPSEATS in or out of Naples. There wasn't when DL CONNECTION went back in there and there still aren't any. There isn't even a 25000mile freebee but I covered this elsewhere.
I have been using FLL and RSW for 15 years now three and four times a year so I guess I will keep using those airports. APF is closer to the condo but for $150-250 per seat, this is a no brainer.

Is there enough demand for B6 E190 service to JFK or even FL service to ATL?

"The Delta Connection, which is just wrapping up its first full year of service, is being credited with bringing in huge passenger loads."

So maybe APF can pull a SRQ and "reward" Delta by subsidizing an LCC to fly in.

Sweet mother of god does that make my mouth water. However a the runways aren't all that long at 5290 and 5000, also we have the worst NIMBYS in the nation, hence APF being the home of the first ever Stage II jet ban.

No. Not unless they get a fat subsidy, which should go to airlines that already serve there.

The delta connection service is already subsidized by local business and the city government.

I believe the airport currently restricts aircraft greater than 75,000lbs from using the airport - which would eliminate JetBlue from being able to fly to the airport.

Funny how he forgot to mention that.

With 5,000 foot runways and no room for expansion, DL shouldn't have to worry about any LCC's competing with their Canadian Recycled Junk service.
