Korean Air's Future "Average-Size-Widebody" Fleet

Thu Dec 29, 2005 2:53 am

I decided to start this thread because, well, I just haven't seen much on this carrier large lately.

Okay, my thoughts:

For their widebody fleet (not including the larger A380 or 744, or 773):
-They operate the A300, A332, A333, and 772...(I think their pax-version MD-11s have all been converted to freighters now, os I won't include them here).
-They will be adding the 787-8 (Up to 20 of them as it stands)

My question:
Korean will operate the 787 alongside the A332 and A333, 772 and A300, or are one or more of these types on their way out? (I realize there is a big difference between the 772 and the A300, but seeing as how SQ replaced their small widebody fleet with 772s, I figured my question is warranted)

Sorry about the confusion.

This is the post everyone should be posting to, as I've suggested deletion on the other.

Thanks for all the responses thus far. Veeeery interesting.  optimist
