Delta's Back Jet Svc After 20 Years!

Fri May 26, 2000 1:18 pm

Delta is going to fly thier MD-88 to Manchester, NH. I know it is still flying to MHT currently by ASA on CRJ jets. They will fly between ATL and MHT on Sept 1, 2000. Delta pulled out last time route was BOS and LGA on 727-200 early 1980.

Yep, that was an old artifact of regulation moving into the deregualatory climate--ie an old "yellow bird" route. DL found at the time that it wasn't a money maker. Now that the NE is booming and SWA has hit MHT, it's opening up again.
