Was just about to post the same topic! It departed Orlando an hour late and is now expected 4 hours late. Another late VS flight from Orlando! They don't seem to be doing too well on the route punctuality wise.

EDIT: It was JFK and departed there 1:11am local

I noticed that too, whenever I have travelled the route I have always been delayed too, maybe its just bad luck. No doubt VS will blame the delay on one of their usual excuses which they say to passengers.

Anyone know the cause of the diversion yet?

Cheers,

The diversion was due to a medical emergency. Not an excuse - fact Wink.

The LGW fleet have suffered the last couple of weeks with some unfortuntate instances which have caused a lot of reactionary delays. There have been at least two instances of aircraft sustaining damage during ground operations (been hit by ground service equipment). Flights have been full and this has affected On time performance, which over the last year or so has been steadily improving.
