Italian *VFR* Markets

Sun Jan 01, 2006 9:45 am

Being of Italian origin I was wondering what are the top Italian VFR markets. Below I have included a listing of Italians that are living around the World:

Brazil
25,000,000
United States
15,600,000
Argentina
18,000,000
Venezuela
3,200,000
Canada
1,200,000
Uruguay
1,200,000
France
1,000,000
Australia
1,000,000
Switzerland
750,000
Germany
550,000
Belgium
280,000

One of the main questions is that since Italian-Brasilian immigration occured about 50 years prior to the Italian-American immigration, is their less VFR from Italy to Brasil? Since the Italian-Brasilian immigration occured before the Italian-American immigration. Is the VFR higher to the United States and Canada also due to family industries? Is the VFR higher for Italian-Australian, and Italian-Argentine because these are recent immigrations crushes within the past 100 years?
