Top Of Last 24hrs Photo Question

Mon Jan 02, 2006 10:35 pm

The photo that is currently the best of the last 24hrs, is very good, but I would like to know what a/c is the third in from the right? It goes NW 747, NW 747, NW ???. It looks a bit like an A330, but even NW wouldn't put a new A330 into storage would they?

Also , the comment for the photo says that the UA 747 at the front is now in with CRL as F-HSEA. Who are CRL? I realise they are probably french, can anyone help?

Danke

I'd take a guess at a 767, and I imagine you are right when you say they wouldn't put an A330 into storage. My guess is 767  wink

Looking at the cockpit windows, it's definitely a DC10.

Oh yeah I see now. Thanks Manni.

Its always sad to see photos of stored a/c, especially when you consider that particularly the older ones will never move again.
I'd buy them for my airline!(If I had one of course...)
