Hey, im currently flying LH 411 JFK-MUC Airbus A330-343X D-AIKC, and im using the great flynet onboard this LH flight, it works just great as a DSL connection. Im sitting in Business Class in seat 12G, i find it sad how the Rockwell Collins AVOD system onboard lufthansa isnt fully functionally yet...  Sad

Great post! According to Flightaware, it looks like you just passed over the coast of Newfoundland; does that seem accurate?

It must be nice to have Internet onboard; I can't wait until AA adds this functionality to their MD-80s

Hey, im getting close to Dublin now, 2H 20M to go, about 2 hours into the flight our speed was 1230Km/H that is the fastest ive ever been in a twin! Of coursebecause of the massive tailwinds the flight time is only 7H 7M, in new york we were behind 30 other aircraft for the line up on for takeoff, waited for about 35 minutes. The plane is a almost 2 years old, and the Business Class just looks worn out! because of its high use.

Ah, so this must have been what Flightaware meant when it said "part of the flight occurs outside the service area." It got the remaining time right, though the map display was decidedly wrong  Smile

Enjoy the rest of your flight. Thanks again for your post. Now, to read up on the specific's of LH's inflight Internet...

Sounds like fun! I sure wish some Skyteam airlines would add that in so I could do that when I travel overseas  Wink

Maybe we will get to see a trip report on that flight?
