YQB has year-round service to Newark, summer service to Detroit, and winter service to Fort Lauderdale.

Quoting MD90fan (Thread starter):
used to have ALB(?)-YYZ,

They used to have Albany-Ottawa and Albany-Montreal operated by Continental Connection carrier Commutair.

OK.....here we go.....on Air Canada (and Jazz, their regional carrier):

YYZ-BOS/MHT/PVD/ALB/ROC/EWR/LGA/HPN/ABE/MDT/PHL/DCA/BWI/ATL/RDU/CLT/ ATL/MIA/TPA/FLL/MCO/RSW/PBI/IAH/DFW/ORD/STL/MCI/DEN/PHX/MSP/LAS/ SEA/SFO/LAX/CLE/CMH/IND/BDL

YUL-
BOS/BDL/LGA/EWR/DCA/MIA/LAS/LAX/SFO/ORD/DEN*/

YOW-
LGA/IAD/ORD

YHZ-
BOS**

YYC-
LAX/SFO/IAH

YEG-
LAX

YVR-
SEA/PDX/SFO/LAX/SAN/LAS/JFK

*YUL-DEN is scheduled to start around 16JUN....It's already announced and loaded in the res systems.

**YHZ is supposed to get US preclearance sometime this year. That should help add new routes from there.

With the additional of the new Canadair 705s and E-175/190s, I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of new routes being added in the near future.

It's with CO. I don't think AC has any transborder flights out of YQB. They used to do YQB-BOS several years ago

Also, there is YXE - MSP and YQR - MSP via NW -- twice daily.

Saskatoon (YXE) is mosty D9S, but some D95 and 752s...
Regina (YQR) sees D9S and ARJs..

Even better than that. Can anyone remember the old controlled route authorities. I'm only 30, but here is what I remember as a child growing up in MTL.

YYZ-BOS (USAir)
YUL/YOW-SYR (Piedmont)
YUL-BOS (Delta) (My first flight ever)
YUL-EWR (Eastern)
YUL-BUF (USAir)
YUL-ALB (BEX)
YYC-LAS (Republic)
YUL-DTW (Republic)
I thought Braniff was also in Canada at some point?
I also think US had rights to CLE from most Canadian cities. Probably acquired from Alleghany?

Look at how the US-Canadian skies have changed over time after the agreements. It was funny to see airlines flying these routes, most were Point to point, just to have the authority to fly into Canada.

And of course, the famous DL 214/215, which we flew quite regularly as a child. What a routing that flight had.
YUL-MIA-FLL-DTW (or was it ORD). The best was that 18 minute MIA-FLL sector. Leave MIA over the water, make a u turn come back west over Hallandale, hollywood to go out into the everglades and make another U tern to come in east bound over ST RD 84 (No I595 at the time).
Take sthe same amount of time to drive it! My dad would book the flight thru to FLL, but many times, if my mom could pick us up and we had only carry on, we would just get off in MIA and drive it. No one even cared, in fact, I'm sure the flight attendants just gave up after a while. Of course my dad was such as frequent flyer, he knew all the staff and attendants. Those were the days!!!

Yes they do still fly IAH-YYC 3 or 4 times daily with 737s. They will indeed be ending YEG service.

COEX flies EWR-YQB or does AC or both? How does the winter YQB-FLL flights do? Could it be a year-round CRJ-CRJ-705/E-175/E-190?
