It will be sad to see it go. The aircraft did a flypast in Calgary earlier today, it was quite spectacular. The photos are on my site, and more will be coming. Certainly feel free to leave a message.
http://www.contrailsphotography.com I will miss them...
FCWJ which did the flypast on Monday, GWJK, GWJU which is now stripped of WJ paint and stickers, and I believe GWWJ which I saw taxi down to one of the south hangers to possibly begin removal of paint/stickers.
There was also another one GWJE which was a stripped plane sitting beside the hanger but was not there today. It may have already flown out of the city to the desert.
There is another one which might be the one in Edmonton.. FLWJ??
A history wrapping up in the end..
What a history might I add..
I now look forward to the likes of First Air, Air North, CDN North and Skykings when the occasion comes for a visit.

Poor old planes. My last 732 flight was last November on Ryanair's EI-CNX, and by the look of things it WILL be my last. The 732 has been one of my favourite aircraft for years, and it's so sad to see their days are rapidly coming to an end. I think for many people, at least in its later days, the 732 was a 'love it or hate it' aircraft. It had its supporters but also many who couldn't wait to see the end of it. I definately fall into the first category, and so I say RIP 732's...LBA isn't quite the same anymore...
Edith in his bed, a plane in the rain is humming, the wires in the walls are humming some song - some mysterious song
So, that makes F9, HP, WN, and WJ who have retired their 732s. AS will soon join the group, and later DL. These airlines all owe their very existence, to some degree, to their 732s; F9, WN, and WJ all started with them. Who's next to de-classicify their fleet? AQ?
