AA B772 At TER (Lajes, Acores) Right Now?

It seems an AA B772 is scheduled to depart to MIA from TER. However, the flight number 9262 seems to be wrong.
What could this be, a diversion or a military charter to Lajes AB ?
Somebody to know more ?

My uneducated guess would be a military positioning flight, flying over here to the Gulf to pick up a unit flying home, especially in light of the refueling stop at Lajes (LGS)..

Its a bit of a roundabout routing if that is the case. I find that option unlikely as its so far from the great circle route between the US and middle-east. I would have thought that FRA would be a much more likely location for your scenario.
