Lynx Air Acquires 3 S-340s

Mon Jan 09, 2006 4:52 am

The latest edition of SpeedNews reports that Lynx Air International has purchased 3 ex-Chicago Express Saab 340 (1 S-340B/2 S-340A) from AMR Leasing.

No additional details were given and I cannot find a press release anywhere, any ideas about this acquisition? Is this expansion or replacement of their Metro fleet?

Chicago Express never flew the 'A' model Saab, so not sure where they are getting them from.

Sorry, you're correct. The source for all three is AMR Leasing, only 1 is ex-Chicago Express.

I'd still be interested in learning where they're coming from as AMR Leasing only leases former AE aircraft... and American Eagle only flew 'B' models.
