Jet Blue Using B Gates Out Of EWR?

Thu Jan 12, 2006 12:47 am

I was just looking at Jet Blue's flight tracker on flights out of Newark, and noticed that one flight out of EWR-MCO said that it will be departing from Gate 61, and a flight to PBI in the early AM departed out of Gate 57 today. Yesterday also had some departures out of B area gates. Can anyone confirm why they are using these international gates in terminal B?

Maybe they might use them for Am flights when they get backed up in the morning. But it also could be a mistake. But probably this is because of back ups in A. They have 3 Gates in A now so I don't know why they would need more for Am flights. They operate out of Gate A18, A21, A22.
