SN Brussels Drops Glasgow Service

Thu Jan 12, 2006 5:40 am

SN Brussels Airlines appears to have dropped it's BRU-GLA service as of the 9th of March, apparently the aircraft used on the route will be moved to start a new service to Nice. This is a shame for GLA as this is one of the few foreign flag carriers that operates to GLA.

Indeed, a pitty to see them go, but then the loads on the route were amongst the lower on the European network and almost all of the pax were connecting through BRU, so the yield was really terrible...

SN deems they can use their capacity better by re-deploying the plane on 2 new destinations: NCE and FRA.

... sad news indeed... as it was the only belgian airline to operate Scotland from BRU ... Maybe they will try to fly EDI in a near future ...

On the other hand, I am sooooo happy to see SN Brussels Airlines introducing FRA and reintroducing NCE !!!
