SFO-YEG New Service...why No AC Codeshare?

All of you AC insiders....

It only seems logical that AC codeshares this new flight....

I wanted to book on aircanada.com but couldn't. Any idea why AC doesn't have it in the system

Probably because AC plans(planned?) to do that run with their own metal.

I believe UA is also starting IAD-YVR this summer - I wonder if AC will codeshare that?

EDMONTON – United Airlines will commence daily nonstop flights between Edmonton and San Francisco, California on February 8, 2006. Tickets are now on sale.



"This new United Express service to our international gateway San Francisco, offers customers one-stop access to markets in Asia and the South Pacific,” says Richard Carret, United Airlines General Manager, Sales - Canada. “As well, from Edmonton, the Hawaiian Islands and our extensive intra-California network are just one convenient stop away.”

"Our tourism industry also strongly benefits from this new service as northern California is also one of our top U.S. tourism markets."
