I was in Denver, CO today and noticed a sign by their curbside baggage check in that said "No Tipping please." And something to the effect of, The only thanks we need is for you to fly us again. The agents were F9 employees and not contracted agents. What a surprise to see that sign. I guess it makes sense to pay your own employees to do the work of contract agents. The curbisde takes the place of an addition ticketing desk and rent associated and also eleviates some additional lines as most airlines aim to do at their check in counters.
You could check your bags for free at F9 or pay UA $2 a bag. What a concept.
Way to go Frontier!!!!!!
