This was a confusing title... I had immediatley clicked it to see what overseas flights they were talking about...turns out they are refering to the carribean, which they already do.

Though it looks like they should have their all airbus fleet by september of 2006 now, so hopefully they can get back into growth mode. at their exisitng stations.
Experience is what you get when what you thought would work out didn't!

I wonder if NK will add more domestic destinations. Cities like DFW and ATL are getting service to FLL to connect with the Carribean banks/flights.Is LAX-FLL finally non-stop now?

Nope, it was supposed to be, but they delayed the service introduction I believe indefinitely. My understanding is that the delay was so that they could take that aircraft and send it to the Caribbean instead, but I don't know that for sure.

NK should keep expanding its international network and open domestic flights just to route passenger to international destinations. I hope they start the FLL-MEX flight, we need cheap fares in the Mexico City - Florida market!!

It would be hard to go down that path for Spirit. Perhaps if they gave away free tickets for every flight starting tomorrow, the could burn through money as fast as DH.
This is the Last Stop.

They have USDOT authority and have to start the service by the end of 2006. I think 12/15/06 was the tenative date set by NK...
