Airbus is pumping out more A320s, and to be fair, A320 is likely, in most aspects, a more modern and functional aircraft than 73G, though both are excellent. Boeing is dominant in the higher dollar long haul market. The big questions are, will A350 orders pick up, will Dreamliner sales continue as strongly, what factor will A380 play, and how will the next generation mainline single aisle battle stack up.

Until Boeing replaces the 737 I expect that Airbus will continue to wind the number of airline orders. I also expect that Airbus will get a bit more leverage with the cash discounts on the A340/330s, but I still think that Boeing is going to own this space for a while.

I doubt the A380 will have any significant impact. Likewise, outside of Freight, the 748 will also have minimal impact.

A - I sold more planes than you.  razz
B - I have more revenue than you.  razz

So who won? I say its a tie.  wave

The A vs B fight is over. Big grin

I'm just wondering, how long will it take both A and B to clear their massive backlogs - 4000 jets. Thats huge!
