L-39 Crashes At Ketchikan Alaska-news Coverage.

Thu Jan 26, 2006 9:43 am

Hey guys another Civilian warbird just went down.

It was a L-39 that apparently was flying from Sitka AK, to Ketchikan. The body of the pilot was found about 100 yard from the airplane still strapped to the E-seat.

However what I want you all to look at is the news story on the crash. I love the line where the paper says that they checked with the USAF, AKANG, AKNG to find out if any of their airplanes was missing. The part where they say there may have been 1 or 2 people on the airplane is pretty good reporting to.
