Nice news... but I've always wondered why Norwegian does not fly to HEL

I guess because the route is so dominated by Finnair and Blue1/SAS and the markets have not been that big, from HEL there were more passangers to AMS than to OSL last year, for example.
Though the business is growing all the time, Norwegians are important customers for AY's expanding Asia network.

As stated above Blue1 (SAS owned) and Finnair allready operates on HEL-OSL so I guess it would be rather hard competition.

Norwegian operates using only B737-300, and that might turn out to be to large for such a service. Not many leisure travelleres between the two capitals I would guess.

Most likely Norwegian will start more international routes from Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger and Harstad/Narvik.

Norwegian allready announced their start up on Hamburg - Bergen.
