guess the big question is whether the Canadian market could sustain a PPT service, considering Canadian salaries and resident buying power after taxes.
Remember all is not lost- YVR does have a YVR-HNL-NAN service with FJ.
doubtful there is a market for ppt ex Vancouver or Western Canada for that matter. However I am sure there would be some NZ
and Australian traffic traveling via PPT.
It is likely that TN
will be granted traffic rights from Vancouver to CDG
. The local airport authority is lobbying hard for Canada to re-open bi-lateral talks with France. With a new government with a Prime Minister from Western Canada and a Foreign Trade Minister who was once on the YVR
Board of directors, the possibility of Tn serving PPT-YVR
is looking more promising.
