KL 1007 AMS-LHR

Wed Feb 08, 2006 8:56 pm

I've been looking through various timetables (Amadeus, Expedia, AF, NW/KL) and noticed that some have this route as a A332 and some as B763 and some listed as EQV (Winter 2006). Amadeus had the 332 listed, but has changed it to EQV. Does anyone know if there is a scheduled change of aircraft from the 763 to 332 in the near future? Does EQV mean larger aircraft or could it be a smaller aircraft?

I've flown #1008 a few times, the most recent being last June (OK, so not THAT recent). Always been a 763 for me. It'd be great if it was indeed the 330.  Big grin

EQV means equipment varies, not equivalent as some might think. With 3 new arrivals of A330's scheduled this year(April, August and December) it is very posssible that LHR will get one from time to time. Just keep your fingers crossed  Cool

As from October it will be a mixed operation of A332 and B767. According to CORDA (KL reservation system) the KL1007 is B767 except for 2 days, then it will be A332. Don't know anymore what days of the week it is A332.

Thank you all for your replies. Do you know if KLM's 330s are configured like NW?
