PK T7-200LR Delivery Through MAN 26/2

Fri Feb 10, 2006 1:54 am

According to someone who has a reliable source, as reported on manchesterspotters2@yahoo, AP-BGY will be delivered via MAN on Sunday 26th Feb, arriving at 9am and staying for an hour or so.

Presumably the only time MAN will see the plane.

As ever with delivery flights, things could change....

So this a/c will have that "new" tail scheme on it?

Can't wait to see some pics!
I like British Airways! I'm not sure why, but I do! ;-)

Sorry, Ba777-236
currently the 1st 77L for PIA has NOT the new tail colors.
Here are some pics of the PIA's 1st 77L But it will be delivered at the end of february at earliest. So there's still a little chance that it will go again into the paintshop.

Jan

Why is it getting delivered through MAN? Even though it's an LR, does it still not have the distance to get to it's destination from PAE? I find that situation hard to believe.

that bird technically could easily fly the distance.....but thats probably only with the auxiliary tanks.......I don't think PK has it fitted with the 3 extra tanks...

when I took these photos, the -200LR flew from BOM/DEL-SFO nonstop....but that was only with about 45 pax and flying with a good tailwind...

I thought PK was going to utilize this bird on a non-stop IAH route? Can someone verify?

True but how many pax/crew and how much cargo (if any) are on the delivery flight?

Can the A/C not fly straight to Pakistan instead of routing Manchester?

Could just be picking up crew, or they may be having a crew change with one of the regular PK T7s that come to MAN. The time on the ground is probably too short to be picking up cargo or pax.

Otherwise, publicity? And what better way to get a picture of your plane around the world than at one of the most photographer/spotter friendly airports!

Hi PIA777,
so far I haven't seen any drawings for this, just have read it on the web.
hmm, I can't find the link anymore. But the colors will be like regional pakistani artwork, if I remember correctly.

KHI-YYZ will be first destination with KHI-IAH flights still routed through MAN IIRC.

Cheers,
