Global Flyer Due At Manston 1830utc Today

Sat Feb 11, 2006 11:39 am

Accorring to The Global Flyer website,
http://www.virginatlanticglobalflyer.com/Home/index.jsp

Steve Fossett is due to land at Manston at 1830 tonight.

Any A.nutters going to be there to capture the landing ?. If not keep looking up to get it passing overhead as it should make landfall over Ireland at 1730utc.

(as I type this he has just passed the start point, so has now completed 1 "lap")

Do you have a map of its due path over the UK and Ireland? I will be flying Stansted-Cork around that time, and would love to by chance see it air to air. I'm due in Cork at 17:55.

Did anyone by chance spot it over the U.S. today? I'm out of town, unfortunately, because it looks like it flew directly over my house north of Houston.
