BA Sale

Sun Feb 12, 2006 8:47 pm

Just to confirm...I am not a cheap skate but after booking some excellent trips in the BA sale this year - which ended Jan 31st, I was wondering if anybody can tell me when or if BA will have another one (this year)?

Odd question and the answer may not follow any pattern in the past....just wondering if anyone knew,

Thanks.

Bore da! Shwd ych chi?

I have previously seen fantastically cheap winter sales with BA to the USA - like £160-180 return including everything - but the added fuel charge has pushed this to over £200. Besides, it'll be summer soon, when the fares naturally generally increase.

Shame its not before september...I was looking for a good fare to Beijing during the last week of september.

Picked up a fare to Beijing for £320 in last years sale which is fab! and a great trip on a 777.

They also offer really good deals to the UK and Europe from the US, including free stopovers in London including 2-3 nights in really nice hotels. I have seen that as cheap as $300 RT from NYC or $450 RT from LAX, though it is usually about $100 more now because of their Fuel Surcharge (Fare Hike)

I got a really good deal to TUN from VIE (vie LHR/LGW). It only cost 293 euros. That's less that TU with 334 euros or AF, LH or AZ which are above 400 euros.
Next flights : BRU-ZRH-CAI (LX)/ BRU-FCO-TLV (AZ)

They did a series of Thursday specials a few years ago, will they repeat this? I'm still kicking myself for not booking a LHR- NRT for £199 inc taxes.
