Thai 744s... Are There PTVs In Y Class?

Fri Jun 02, 2000 3:56 am

I'm flying Thai to Tokyo from NRT in mid august from LAX. Whats the service like? Do they have PTVs in economy? Their website indicates that they don't as yet.

I flew two of their 744s (TGK and TGP) a month ago. They didn't have PTVs. The service is great, the flight attendants are friendly and the food is the best I've ever had on a flight. Also before the service they give you a menu on longhaul flights like SIA, I think it's nice. (not very important but oh well...) During the movies they served drinks (orange/apple juice, water or milk) every 20-30 mins. I don't know if they allow cockpit visits but I wasn't able to visit.

Hi,

yes, the service is great; but I have booked MAS to fly from FRA to SYD because MAS have PTV's, which Thai doesn't have.
