Manchester Airport 1971 Question

Sat Feb 18, 2006 5:48 am

Does anybody have access to a Manchester Airport timetable from 1971?, if so can you help settle an argument.
A friend of mine and his brother want to find out what airline they would likely to have flown to Palma in the summer of 1971.
I don't think money is involved just pride in who guessed right!

One reckons it was Air Spain and the other reckons it may have been Dan Air.
They both know it had 4 jet engines so that should narrow it down a bit if indeed it was one of these 2 airlines.

My guess is one of the following
Air Spain, DC-8
Dan Air, Comet or 707

Flying may not be all plain sailing, but the fun of it is worth the price.
