DL Domestic Fare Classes

Sun Feb 19, 2006 10:45 pm

I was checking out a flight from LGA-ATL and chose "First" as my fare class. However, a few of them popped up as Business (D). I know that it usually says business on their 763ERs (even when traveling domestically). However, when I clicked on the seat map it showed an MD-88? Since when is the premium cabin on an MD-88 called "Business"?!

Probably an error with the website. There is nothing perfect that humans have their hands on.

I've seen a few narrow-body first class cabins marketed as "business" before, like on a few flights to Mexico, but I haven't seen that domestically.

If the flight number goes on to an international destination (say LGA-ATL-LIM all on one flight number), it will only be sold as Business/Coach.

Yeah, I figured that, but this was an M80...doesn't exactly have a long range.

Same flight number, but in ATL, the actual aircraft changes .. that's why.
